Document Rules
Certification: copies must be certified by a notary, radca prawny (attorney), or Voivodeship Office employee (upon presenting the original). Uncertified photocopies are not accepted.
Sworn translation: only translations by registered sworn translators (tlumacz przysiegly) are valid. Register: Ministry of Justice website.
Related documents together: submit related docs as a set (e.g., sublease + main lease agreement).
Validity date: documents must be valid on the date the permit is issued, not just the application date.
Apostille: required for documents issued outside the EU. Obtaining retroactively from abroad adds 2-4 months. Burman Robinson identifies the apostille on marriage certificates as the most frequently missing document in family reunification cases.
MOS upload limits: photos max 2.5 MB, other files max 10 MB, total max 50 MB per application.
